The ralink drivers ran fine for a while but then the lag spikes started again. The connection drops for one second once in like two minutes. In World of Warcraft it is not that big of a problem. But in Call of Duty fast connection is what you need all the time. (See <a title=\"games post\" href=\"http:\/\/www.caliburn.nl\/blog\/?p=68\">my game post<\/a> from a while back for more information on these games) resulting the networking cable being back in my hallway&#8230;\u00c2\u00a0 The laptop did not have problems so it must have been <a title=\"usb adapter\" href=\"http:\/\/www.linksys.com\/servlet\/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&amp;childpagename=US%2FLayout&amp;pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&amp;cid=1134691790190\">the usb adapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I ordered a <a title=\"WG311\" href=\"http:\/\/www.netgear.com\/Products\/Adapters\/WirelessGAdapters\/WG311.aspx\">Netgear WG311 adapter<\/a> to see what a PCI card from a different company would do. Looking good at the moment *knock on wood*. When I am not leeching the news groups that is :P The connection is quite stable and fast.
